WE SAVED THE WORLD!

SO NOW THAT THAT’S DONE…
Help us kick off our 2013 season with a mature audiences show on 2/16/2013? Yes, that’s right, Valentine’s Day weekend. What says “Hey, I think you’re alright,” to your Valentine like No Pants?

Welcome to 2013, we hope you are enjoying the year that almost wasn’t. The ancient Mayans did in fact show up to destroy the world on 12/21/2012 but we worked out a deal. We’d like to keep the details of that agreement secret, but let’s just say that we offered them one of our troupe members if they would spare the world and they gladly accepted. They were actually very cool about the whole thing. We have replaced that troupe member with a cyborg. Extra points to the fan who can spot the fake Brian…we mean troupe member…at our show.

Ticket sales are now live for the Valentine’s Day Weekend/Post Apocalypse show. Remember, leave the kids at home for this one.

No Pants Players – Post Apocalypse Adult Show
Walker Theater at the Clay Center
February 16th @ 8pm/$12

WE’VE BEEN AROUND THE WORLD, FROM CHARLESTON TO PARKERSBURG…

To our esteemed Parkersburg admirers of the past decade, we do apologize. However, on Friday, August 10th, 8pm at the Smoot Theatre, we bring our crue to the P-Burg faithful. Tickets are $14 for adults, and $9 for 18 and under. For more info and to purchase tickets visit the Smoot Theatre website at www.smoottheatre.com or call 304-422-PLAY. This will be an all ages show.

That’s it for family friendly in the month of August. The following night, Saturday, August 11th, we are live at the Clay Center for an uncensored show presented by Hooters of Charleston. The show starts at 8pm, and tickets are only $12! Our schedule may or may not list a family show at the Alban for August 11th, but we will not be there. You are encouraged to visit the Alban Theater and bask in its St. Albansish glory, but you might be there alone on the 11th. Tickets for the uncensored show are available as of right…right…NOW! Get your tickets on our website or at the door, but we encourage you to buy them early as these shows are known to sell out.

In related news, we typically eat a bucket of fried chicken during our workshops. If you’ve seen us play Helping Hands, that is how we do it.

THE MURDERER GOT AWAY, MATURE CONTENT ADVISORY AND RATE HIKES ALL IN ONE!

If you were at the April 14th All Ages Show in St. Albans, then you watched us almost catch a killer during Clue. Or as close as we’ve come in years, which is technically still nowhere close. But we wanted to be able to call it “just barely,” so we did.

Thanks to the amazing audience that turned out for that show! We had a blast and hope you did, too! Kudos to our special guests “Batteries Not Included” for bringing their existential-teenage-improv-comedy-angst onto the stage and showing off to the NPP crowd. You guys and gals did excellent!

On to the Mature Audiences show, May 5th @ 9pm, Walker Theater at the Clay Center. Yes, you read that right. The same show you couldn’t get tickets to in February because we were sold out is back! The cash bar is back. The downtown vibe is back. The funny is back!

Due to some overhead/surcharges/death and taxes that are being imposed on us by the Clay Center, our ticket prices for the Mature Audiences shows will now be $15. Tickets MUST be ordered through the Clay Center’s box office (hence, the rate hike – out of our control), so please visit www.claycenter.org or go to “Season Schedule” under “Performances” above and follow the link to purchase tickets.

We return to the Alban Theater in St. Albans for our monthly All Ages show on May 12th, 7pm. Tickets remain $10/adult, $8/child for All Ages shows.

FROM THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE

What an amazing crowd!  Apparently the NPP mixes well with a cash bar, who’d have thunk it?  Also a HUGE thank you to Adelphia Sports Bar and Grille for sponsoring our show.  If you made it out with us after the show then you know why Adelphia is Charleston downtown’s premiere sports bar.  Great food, great drinks and great service!

For those that found out all too late that we were sold out:  we blame gas prices.  I think we can all agree that gas prices suck.  We hated having to turn away regulars and new fans alike at the door.  Be sure to keep up with our events here on our website and check our Facebook announcements to confirm ticket availability.

We were humbled by the turnout for the show and your loyalty to our performances makes us work hard each and every week to give you the best live show in Charleston.  As always, you can catch our all-ages monthly shows at the Alban Arts and Conference Center on Old Main Street in St. Albans.

Next show is March 10th @ 7pm at the Alban.  Tickets are on sale now…get them while they last!
